Ruri is one of the playable Light Heroes in the game Guardian Tales. She is assigned to the Ranged class and uses a Staff.

Profile

Ruri is a famous streamer in Dungeon Kingdom, known for her game streams and live on-site coverage.
Originally, Ruri was an engineer who designed drones and mechanical devices. She began her first broadcast in Dungeon Kingdom to test if her creations could function in harsh environments full of heat and dust. The high-definition footage of adventurers' various actions and incidents captured during this time gained immense popularity. This newfound fame sparked a new ambition in Ruri, prompting her to transform her dingy little workshop into a vibrant broadcasting studio and reinvent herself from engineer to streamer.

Ruri insists on live, on-site reporting, which has earned her a reputation as a faster and more reliable source than any media outlet. This stems from her engineering days, when she felt compelled to verify her designs personally. As she often ventured into dangerous areas, she frequently encountered fallen adventurers and would rescue them with her drones, saying the sight was unappealing on camera. Many of those she saved have become her subscribers, though Ruri still believes her popularity comes from her flashy commentary and looks rather than her rescue efforts and live broadcasts.

As people became reluctant to go on adventures due to the Invader invasion and various strange anomalies, Ruri's broadcasts gradually shifted to focus more on game streaming than on-site reporting. However, she declared that a true streamer doesn't just sit still when there's no content, and announced her own adventure. She equipped her drones with combat gear and set out herself. Having watched adventurers up close for so long, Ruri turned out to be more skilled than expected, and her courage inspired other adventures to regain their courage and venture out once more.
