Guardian Tales Wiki

The Monster Ranch is a mini-area accessible from the Farm after crafting a Tool Box at the Crafting Station and using it to repair the Bridge on the right side of the Farm.

The main objective of the Monster Ranch is to collect and befriend different types of Monsters. New Monsters can be acquired by paying 150,000 Soul Point Soul Points or one Token of Friendship to the Friendship Statue in the upper right corner of the ranch. Monsters come in three rarities (

Normal,

Rare,

Unique); this only affects the chance of obtaining each one at the statue. Obtaining a particular Monster for the first time rewards 100 Diamond Diamonds, as does first reaching 100 Friendship Points with a particular Monster.

Raising Monster Friendship[]

Interaction[]

Once a day, each Monster can be interacted with to raise friendship. This consists of performing an emote towards the Monster. Doing this raises the Friendship Meter by 5 points.

Food[]

Monsters can be fed to raise their friendship. Each food item given raises the meter by 5 points, and food can be given unlimited times daily. However, each food item costs 5 Ranch Coin Ranch Coins.

Ranch Coins are earned by performing Chores listed on the board left of the Monster House. Three chores are given per day, with each rewarding 10 Ranch Coin Ranch Coins. The chores are as follows:

  • Pay 5 Sticks or Rock Fragments. (Give them to the Raccoon Werebeast)
  • Interact with your monster 1 time(s).
  • Feed your monster 1 time(s).

Each Monster Species will only eat a certain type of food.

  • Sheep: Mandrake
  • Slime: Refined Mineral
  • Dragonnet: Energy Essence
  • Wolf: Reindeer Meat
  • Horse: Golden Apple
  • Hedgehog: Magic Bean
  • Rabbit: Rainbow Carrot

This allows the player to simultaneously interact with all Monsters on the Ranch for a fee of 20,000 Soul Point Soul Points. It should be noted that doing it more than once in one day will not increase the Friendship level of the Monsters.
  • Level 3: Costs 3 Token of Friendships. The player earns a Bed. Monsters can sleep in it, and sweet music will play. It should be noted that Monsters sleeping in it will not increase the Friendship level of the Monsters.
  • Level 4: Costs 3 Token of Friendships. The player earns a Trampoline. The monsters can get on the trampoline and jump 5 times, and the player can also interact with it. Upon being interacted, an interface will appear where the player is asked to select a monster they want to play with, and that it would cost 1 Ranch Coin Ranch Coin. The game consists of the monster jumping up and the player pressing the button when they come down. After 10 succesful jumps, the game ends. The monster does not gain Friendship Points after losing or winning a game.
  • Level 5: Costs 3 Token of Friendships. The player earns a Monster Wheel. The monsters can get on the wheel and run for approximately 11 seconds, and the player can also interact with it. Upon being interacted, an interface will appear where the player is asked to select a monster they want to play with, and that it would cost 1 Ranch Coin Ranch Coin. The game consists of the monster running in the wheel and the player pressing the button to maintain the monster running; everytime the player presses the button, the arrow advances 5 slots. The game gets progressively harder as more monsters join running alongside the chosen monster, and the player must press the button so as to not slow down or go overboard with the arrow. After all the monsters, dragons, raccoon girl and hero join the monster succesfully, the game ends. The monster does not gain Friendship Points after losing or winning a game.
