After the passed out ogre from 1-4 Forest Border gave you directions to the stage, you enter and see a lot of other ogres passed out. Just follow along the path and defeat some monsters, until you come to a timed block puzzle. Just press one of the buttons first to get the Lv. 10 Obsidian Necklace off the cliff, before running over the buttons and then the blocks. With the help of Pegasus Shoes you should be able to make it.
Continue along the path to reach the treasure chest and the Demon Altar at the end. The chest will give you Lv. 3 Pearl Earring.
