Main Attributes[]
- Class: Each Hero is assigned to one of the four classes: Warrior, Ranged Dealer, Support, or Tanker.
- Element: Each Hero has an Element attribute, which is one of the six: Basic, Dark, Earth, Fire, Light, and Water.
3-Star/Unique Heroes[]
There are 64 3-star Heroes that can be recruited to your Party. All 3-Star Heroes have a named Epic EX Weapon.
Despite being the strongest characters, they rarely appear in the Main Story. Some Unique Heroes appear as the main characters of Side Stories, which usually take place at the same time as the Hero's release.
Collab Heroes are also included on this list since they start as 3-Star Heroes.
Trivia[]
- So far, the following Unique Heroes have appeared in the Main Story:
Future Princess • Dark Magician Beth • Android Mk.99 • Private Investigator Odile • Autonomous Android Mk.2 • Demon Queen Lilith • Legendary Hero Erina • Half Vampire Priscilla • Demonshire's Count Claude • Elite Royal Guard Captain Valencia • Sword of Werebeasts Rey • Contractee Crosselle • Slayer Andras • Destroyer Pymon • 1st Corps Commander • H.E.R.O.S KAI • Overlord of the East Morrian • Incarcerated Scholar Vinette • Plague Doctor • King of the Hill Cornet
- Executive Red Hood Arabelle, Ice Witch Lupina, Horn Huntress Toga and Nine-tailed Fox Garam have appeared in the Main Story's Nightmare Mode.
- The following Unique Heroes were mentioned or have appeared briefly in the Main Story, but were not given much focus:
- There are only thirteen male Unique Heroes: Golem Rider Alef, Nine-tailed Fox Garam, Mecha Warrior Oghma, God of Harvest Kamael, Demonshire's Count Claude, Master Swordsman Gourry, Daniel and Red Panda (Mad Panda Trio), Hero Dai, Mage Popp, White Snow, H.E.R.O.S KAI, Cyborg Monk Chun Ryeo, Plague Doctor, and Eight-Star Demon Lord Rimuru Tempest.
2-Star/Rare Heroes[]
There are 31 2-star Heroes that can be recruited to your Party. This count includes Male Knight or Female Knight and Fei/Mei variations. Each player can only acquire one of each of these, so the max number of attainable 2-Star Heroes is currently 29. 28 of the 2-Star Heroes have at least one named Legend EX Weapon (including both starter Knight variants and Fei/Mei).
These Heroes are the ones with the most contribution to the Main Story. They usually appear as major characters or assistants in stages or quests. In particular, this rarity contains the famed Champions, with the exception of Demon Queen Lilith and Plague Doctor, who are both Unique Heroes and can't be obtained through Main Story.
Special notes for dual-Heroes[]
- Male Knight or Female Knight is selected when starting the game. You can only obtain one gender of The Knight, in this case, it's the sex you choose at the beginning of the Story.
- Fei or Mei can be acquired in World 5, depending on choices made during the main quest. If you obtain Fei, he will be the only character from the dual Heroes that will appear through the summon, and you can only summon him from then on. On the other hand, if you obtain Mei she will be the only character from the dual Heroes that will appear through the summon, and you can only summon her from then on.
- With the release of Fei and Mei's Ascension, players were given the ability to change the Knight's personality and gender, as well as allowing them to swap out Fei for Mei and vise/versa. To change it, the player must tap their profile while they are on Heavenhold, tap the button with the 3 bars and then select "Character Settings".
1-Star/Normal Heroes[]
There are 22 1-star Heroes that can be recruited to your Party. In the Main Story, these characters appear as supporting characters and have little to no significance on the story itself.
None of the 1-Star Heroes have a named Epic EX Weapon. None of the 1-Star Heroes have special abilities and chain skills. 1-Star Heroes do not have a voice actor. However, having 1-Star Heroes increases the Soul Points that can be received from the inn in Heavenhold.

Enhancements[]
Leveling[]
A Hero's level can be increased by consuming the Exp Points gained in completing Stages.
Limit Break[]
The maximum level of Heroes who have evolved to 5 stars can be increased by using Hero Crystals. Hero Limit Break increases a Hero's max level by one, and can be done up to five times.
Hero Evolution[]
The Hero's star grade can be raised using Evolution Stones. Unique and Rare Heroes have unique evolution stones that can be obtained through the Kamazon shop or by completing Rift dungeons.
Awakening[]
Hero awakening stones and Gold are needed to unlock Awakening Nodes. Basic stats such as Def, Atk, and Damage Reduction and special stats such as party effects and other unique abilities can be strengthened in this method. In addition, Awakening Nodes also allow a Hero to use their Chain Skill.
Training Room[]
Heroes can be put into the Training Room to raise their level, evolution, awakening and limit break level to the currently possible maximum. After clearing World 7 - Dungeon Kingdom, it can be unlocked by opening up the Heavenhold Underground Waterway.
Strength Notes[]
There are many different sources of strength for the heroes, and some of them may not be so obvious. Aside from the direct Items and Awakening nodes on any one character, the following will also affect the overall strength of a party:
- Each member's party buff (upgraded through Awakening), and the power synergy between them
- The members' Chain Skills, their sequence, and their activation pattern after the party leader's Weapon skill puts the enemy into an ailment status
- Minor additional buffs and debuffs from the party members' kit
- Adventure chapter completions, for the extension of heroes' maximum level
- General stat bonuses acquired through the achievement of Hero Progress and Knowledge Rank, and completion of Collections
- Guardian level, for multiple general stat bonuses
