Ameris is one of the playable Earth Heroes in the game Guardian Tales. She is assigned to the Ranged class and uses a Claw.
Profile[]
Ameris is the Earth Dragon King Amarok's daughter. She received training to become an heir since a young age. Ameris often heard the future of Earth Dragons seemed bright since she showed talent in magic and acted more mature for her age. However, after she started studying abroad in the Magic School in human world, she started getting caught up in multiple small and large events. Which is causing concerns for the elders.
Ameris spent a lonely childhood because of her status as heir. Her life met a turning point after she ran into the adventurous and fiery Girgas, who snuck into the Earth Dragon realm. Girgas pulled pranks on her without any hesitation, and this influenced Ameris. It was enough stimulation to turn her originally quiet personality into a bright one. She was able to laugh and cry from the pranks Girgas pulled and she could enjoy being a child fitting for her age. The Earth Dragons and Fire Dragons conflicted with each other, so their friendship is a rare case.
One day, the two of them started talking about venturing into the human world, and they started concocting a plan. The most pressing issue was that they had to transform into humans, but they haven't learned transformation magic yet. That was when Girgas mentioned transformation magic stored in the forbidden library of the Fire Dragons. He suggested they sneak in together and run after quickly learning the transformation magic. Entry into the Fire Dragon's forbidden library was strictly banned, but the two of them had had set a clear goal, and they didn't hesitate.
Ameris followed Girgas and snuck into the Fire Dragon realm, and they easily entered the forbidden library through a secret passage. Girgas flew around the forbidden library as if he was already familiar with it, and he picked up a rustic magic book. Ameris took on translating the transformation magic, and it wasn't a difficult task for her. However, their happiness was short lived. A giant stone dragon statue began roaring at them as if it reacted to their intrusion The defense system of the forbidden library that subdues intruders began to activate.
Ameris fell into a panic. She knew, if the heir to the Earth Dragons was discovered sneaking into the Fire Dragon's forbidden library, then she won't just get a simple scolding. She couldn't fathom what kind of disaster would take place. The two young dragons turned towards the secret passage. Ameris jumped in, and Girgas closed the door. Ameris came to her senses after seeing the closed door, and she heard Girgas telling her to run away first. Girgas was smiling brightly as if he was saying she doesn't have to worry about a thing.
Ameris couldn't see Girgas for a long time after that. She missed Girgas and her concern for him grew, but she couldn't approach the Fire Dragon realm. Ameris waited for the day she reunites with Girgas. She imagined the day they would reunite, and repeatedly practiced expressing her gratitude and how much she missed him so much. That was when she realized that she considered Girgas more than a friend. It was an obvious result that Ameris rushed into the human world after hearing about Girgas. She used the excuse of studying abroad in Magic School to become the perfect heir and ran off into the human world to find him.
Ameris perfected her transformation magic, but she doesn't hide her horns or tail to look like a couple with Girgas. However, everyone considers her a failing student in magic like Girgas because she shows off her half dragon half human appearance. Someone once said they saw her fixing up the wreckage caused by Girgas's pranks, and claimed she might be proficient in magic. However, that claim was quickly considered as a rumor since there's no way Ameris could cast such great magic spells when she can't even properly cast a transformation spell.
