Chris Inside the Ice is a sub-quest in World 8 - Mt. Shivering.
Quest Completion
In the area where the snowman that delivered Mako's letter was frozen, there is a cave entrance. The player enters the cave and comes out of the other side, where they will see Adventurer Chris trapped behind blocks of ice, starting the quest.
The player should then go to the right, and search for a red button. Pressing it will open a door, allowing the player to pick up an unlit torch. It should be lit and used to melt the ice surrounding Adventurer Chris until the player can interact with him. He introduces himself, and thanks the player for saving them from hypothermia, completing the quest.
