Bridge of Death is a sub-quest in World 8 - Mt. Shivering.
Quest Completion
There is a bridge in 8-1 Way into Mt. Shivering. Upon approaching the middle of the bridge, the player will see the Blacksmith being asked three questions by the Old Man on Bridge of Death. She answers all of them and passes without incident. The Old Man then asks Todd, an Elite Snowman Guard, three questions. Todd answers the first two questions without incident. When he was asked what's his favorite color, he answers black, only to change his mind and say that he prefers pink, causing him to be thrown off the Bridge of Death.
The player should then interact with the Old Man, as trying to get past him without answering his questions results in the player being thrown off the Bridge of Death. The Old Man's three questions are as follows:
- Who are you?
- What are you looking for?
- What's the viscosity coefficient when expressing slime's movement using the Navier-Stokes equation?
The player can choose any answer for the first and second question. For the third question, the player should either answer 3.87 or ask the Old Man on what kind of slime he is talking about. Any other answer results in the player being thrown off the Bridge of Death. The first one results in the Old Man allowing the player to cross the bridge. The second one, on the other hand, results in the Old Man being thrown off the Bridge of Death, since he does not have an answer to the player's question, which also allows the player to cross the bridge.
