Ailments Ailment Downed Ailment Airborne Ailment Injured are the statuses in which enemy is stunned. Ailments can be inflicted on enemies with Weapon Skill or Chain Skill to stun them, making them unable to move or attack for a short duration. A complete ailment infliction lasts approximately 2.5 seconds, during which chain skills can be initiated. The effect of ailments varies based on the type.

Ailment Injured
Injured
[]

The enemy is applied with Injured debuff lasting 5 seconds. Injured enemies receive 200% injury damage of DPS. Injured debuff inflicts 10 ticks of DoT damage with the interval of 0.5 seconds per tick, totalling 200% DPS of the applying hero.

Ailments can be inflicted with Weapon Skill of the Party leader and Chain Skills of the Party members. With Weapon skill, the ailment gauge of the enemy needs to reach 100% to be able to stun and initiate Chain skills. Chain skills however, inflict absolute ailment on their successful final combo hit.

Different ailment gauge can be filled individually with varying Weapon skill ailment. Identical ailment skill increases the same gauge fill, while non-identical ailment skill overwrites into another gauge type. However, same enemy cannot simultaneously be put into more than one ailment status.

Ailment Gauge Levels[]

  • Generally, minor enemies can be stunned with a single Weapon Skill.
  • In PvP, heroes generally need to land two complete Weapon skill hits to stun, exceptions being Future Princess, Robbers' Killer Lina and Grim Reaper Hana.
  • Bosses may require multiple hits depending on the weapon, ailment type and the boss itself. Some bosses are resistant to certain ailments while being weak to the other.

Notes[]

  • In Arena, the ailment gauge on a hero is retained between rounds, such that the hero may be stunned on a single skill in the preceding round if they had already been inflicted with the matching ailment previously.
  • Legendary Hero Erina's special ability increases resistance to ailments by 5%.[1] This helps against the one-hit status weapon skills from PvP opponents.
  • Chain Skills of some heroes targeting All ailment, selectively Gremory, Idol Eva, Miya, Veronica, Eleanor and Lilith can be utilized by funneling the ailment advantage to the Main DPS. This can be done by chaining the Main DPS right before aforementioned heroes' chain animation end.[2]
  • With Injured ailment, each of the DoT ticks from Ailment Injured Injured debuff is considered a successful hit, thus heroes and Merches having "on hit" passive buff such as Future Princess can utilize it.[3]
