Before you panic, this stage got known for having the infamous "missing purple coin". Because of that, I'll add the location of that particular coin in this guide as well.

At the start of the level, use the Hookshot to cross the chasm. Now you will arrive at a battle zone with a blizzard. You are not forced to defeat any of the enemies of this area, in fact, you will notice an attack icon on you wherever you go. If you don't run away to zone without blizzard you will pass out (this doesn't count as a Game Over). If you go through the right the first chance you get you will find a bishop laying on the floor. Examine his body to obtain a Holy Grenade. Leave and keep going all the way south to arrive at another chasm. Use the Hookshot and you will meet Dimension Traveler Catherine, facing a Head of Goblin. Defeat the enemy and then Catherine will fall down the chasm, unlocking for you the secret stage: Under the Cliff.

Go back and turn left, sliding through the ice (don't worry about the paths leading north and south, you will be able to access them later), encountering a Desert Elf training. You can talk to him and you will gain a new follower, Ex-priest's Bodyguard.

Go back through the ice and head towards the main quest marker on your map. Speak with the archeologist in the next area, pick up a brazier and melt the ice to find a cactus. Give the cactus to the man and he will reward you by opening a path hiding the first Star Piece Star Piece. Talk to Coco to access the Snowman Village. You will see a Snowman with a quest icon: that's the side quest Happy Snowman.

Follow the marker and you will enter a house with a Snowman child inside. Pick the middle option in the cutscene and they will give you a Blood-stained Pendant. Not only that, they will give us something useful for this world: The Pegasus Spike, an addition to our shoes, allowing us to not slide on ice and control our movement. After you complete the Happy Snowman quest, the guards that were blocking your way up should be gone now: that's the Mysterious Monument area, but at this point we don't have all the slates so simply remember the location for now. Go through the left, defeat some enemies and go through the arrow icon. Remember where you are now? That's right, it's the crossing section of the SNS Follower of this level, so now with the Pegasus Spike you can reach the northern side. Go up and to the left to find a knight and a white bunny. Interact with the bunny, try to leave and enjoy being OH-KOed by a tiny rodent. Talk to the knight and give him the Holy Grenade to smite the foul demon. Inside the cave you will find "The Holy Grail" and the knight will award you with a Star Piece Star Piece.

Go back and move up to find a block puzzle. Use the tiny block to lower the ice blocks. My own suggestion: lower the bottom ice, place the bottom big boulder one tile above the ice, lower the upper ice, move the upper boulder all the way to the right, move the middle boulder all the way up and use the tiny block to lower the middle ice. On the other side, pick up bombs and go down to break down the cracked boulders to reach a cave hiding a Mysterious Slate. Head to the right of the cave after lighting up the bomb with the brazier and read the notes discovering more about the truth of the red ice. In one of the rooms you will also find a Star Piece Star Piece.

Once you are done exploring the cave, exit and head all the way up to see some electricity and a snowball. Get behind the snowball and start rolling it to make it bigger, covering the electricity and letting you grab another Star Piece Star Piece. If you really haven't missed anything in the level and you have headed towards the end of the stage you should be having a daunting score of 49/50 purple coins. Don't worry, you aren't paranoid. Pick up the lighted brazier and melt the giant pile of snow on the center of the plaza: There is your trolly last purple coin.

While you are at it, challenge the three little snowmen children to a snowball fight. Win and you will get the final Star Piece Star Piece. Not only that, but you should also have all of the Mysterious Slates, so you can go back to the village and obtain the final reward: the Primitive Girl Coco costume. Now you can finish the level, knowing that you are not letting a single tiny purple coin ruin your completionist-driven day.
