As the player enters the Innuit Village, head left to trigger a snowstorm, then back away to let it pass. Ignore the first Star Piece visible here as the player will need a brazier to solve this puzzle.
Continuing forward the player will eventually arrive at the center of the village. Coco will asks them to investigate the area. At some point the player will come upon Mako's letter, and a snowman will run off with it, triggering a chase sequence. Once the player catches up with the snowman, a fight with a mysterious figure will begin. The player can backtrack to unexplored areas after this fight.
Now, go back to find a brazier along the way. Immediately south of the brazier's location is a jump pad. Just toss the brazier in front of the jump pad so it will stop the player from sliding too far, then, use the jump pad to reach a treasure chest. Or you solve the electric puzzle here; You can interact with the big guy while slide next to him, coming from the right side.
Now the player can haul the brazier all the way back to the first start piece, or just continue forward until the player circles back towards the entrance and finds another brazier. In any case, toss a brazier on the leftmost red switch, then it will be easy to hit the two other buttons afterwards to unlock the
star piece.
Near the jump pad puzzle the player will find a sign that says "Caution: Old Hookshot Stake". If the player uses the hookshot to move between the stakes nearby several times, it will eventually break and drop the player into a cave for another treasure.
In the final area with the exit go up instead and through the tunnel. There is a hidden quest and a star piece to the right. Traverse the hookshot obstacle course to collect both the star piece, and brazier needed for the quest.
The final missable star piece can be obtained by bringing White Beast along to meet the other beasts east of the Innuit Village center.
