As the player enters, once again, they will see the screen turn white because of a blizzard. The player will continue walking until there is a pop up saying "Something is there". The weather clears up to show the General Gast lying on the ground having a giant spear, made of red ice, stabbed through his back. Next to him is a small innuit girl who seems unconscious. Just as the player finish investigating the body and the girl, a huge groups of both innuits and snowmen gather at the scene. The snowmen all blame the small innuit girl and want to hold a witch trial for her. The player is invited along as a witness and dragged away to court.

The player will find themselves in a setting similar to the Ace Attorney games, where the player finds themselves in the defendant's seat. The Prince is the judge and the prosecutor is Oliver. Oliver starts out by talking about the suspect Mako, who is 11 years old, before calling forward a witness who claims to have seen the murder. Meadow is called to the stand and she tells the court that she saw how General Gast was patrolling as Mako jumped to attack him from the bushes with the red spear. But General Gast defeated her and the next thing she saw was Gast dead. The Prince is uncomfortable with no evidence, but all the snowmen and innuits watching are convinced. The innuits are sad, because they don't believe a little girl like Mako could kill anyone. The Prince asks for the player's opinion.

No matter the player's opinion on the case, Oliver will basically make the decision on the behalf of the Prince. Eventually the Prince will start out reading out a guilty sentence, but moments before he finishes, Innuit Girl Coco yells out an "Objection!" and comes in defense of Mako. She requests more investigation and Oliver reminds her that if she comes in defense, she will have to take the place of Mako if she is deemed guilty and burn at the stake like a witch. Coco acknowledges this and Prince will move the trial for tomorrow, but not before ordering the player to cooperate with the investigation.

Out of the trial, the player will meet Coco again. She's sorry for getting the player into this mess, but she has no choice but to rely on them as the snowmen do not listen to innuits' words. She hopes that if the player talks instead of her, the snowmen will believe they and both will be able to prove Mako's innocence. She'll ask the player to come with her to talk to Mako and inspect the crime scene.

Talking to Mako happens from the prison cave. Talk to the guards in front of the cell and they will reluctantly agree to give the player one minute to interrogate the prisoner. Mako however is reluctant to tell the player anything either. She'll tell the player that she didn't do it, but after asked why she was there, she mentions her mother, but then tells the player to forget it and says that she was just on a walk. As the player walks away, Coco will tell them that Mako is an orphan and has no mother.

At the crime scene the player can investigate three different things. Investigating the corpse of General Gast will confirm that he indeed died from the penetration of the spear on his back. Coco will tell the player that the spear is not the magic of the ice witch, but will not tell how she knows. She then notices an object near Gast's arm. The player picks up General's Broken Wristwatch which points to 9 PM. Next thing to inspect is a suspicious looking mound of snow that seems really out of place in a cleared area. Talking to the snowman next to the mound, he will tell the player that the mound looks like it has been moved. The player will gain his testimony of this.

Once the player is done investigating, Coco will direct them towards the innuit village. She wishes to gain insight of why Mako was there from the village since Mako didn't tell her anything. Follow Coco to exit the stage.

Collectibles[]

Straight out of trial, the player will see a snowman in front of some signs. He'll tell the player that a Yeti has appeared and blocked their way to the food storage. He'll tell the player the location of The Giant Yeti Roadblock stage. Right below, the player will see some spiky blocks sliding across ice and a torch. The player will need to get past all the spike blocks to the other side and light the two lanterns to reveal a Star Piece Star Piece.

Inside the prison cave, in the top right, the player will see a sign for "Prison Equipment Storage". Once the player enters, they will see a person singing about letting her go and opening the door. The player may recognize the reference to the Disney movie Frozen. The guard of said cell is infuriated with her singing. Grab torch and go fetch a fire from the room below. Light the standing lantern and blow up the rock with the bomb. This allows the electricity to travel even when the player pushes the bigger block and grab one of the bombs. The player can now blow up the bigger rock and open the cell. The prisoner will sing a song at the player and thank them, but leave them nothing. The shining box in upper corner has "Prisoner's dump" in it. Talk to the guard to receive a Star Piece star piece for gratitude.

West of the general's corpse, the player can earn another Star Piece star piece by winning the race against Lana the Lightning Counter. This race can be made much easier by first pushing away the stone blocks in the player's path before starting the race.

Only After clearing 8-4 Snowman Village:

Return to where General Gast's corpse was. Throwing a bomb at the glowing spot will reveal a Star Piece star piece.
