As soon as the player enters, they will see a shadow of someone right ahead of them. They will run away as the player comes closer. They will continue to run away and as the player chases them, a blizzard will start. The player will hear someone screaming for help, but their screen will turn white from the storm. Keep going east and the blizzard will clear up and reveal a bunch of snowman tribe people trapped in solid red ice blocks. As the player goes forward they will see two snowmen crying over one snowman and an innuit tribe person trying to console the snowmen. The snowmen turn against the innuit and blame the innuit tribe's ice witch for everything before starting to bully the poor innuit.
Going straight south from the main path and the snowball, the player will find an old man on a bridge. He won't let the player pass unless they answer correctly to his three questions. The player will see the blacksmith and a random armored NPC answer the three questions, but only the blacksmith can pass. The three questions for NPCs are "Who are you?", "What do you want?" and "What is your favourite color?", but for the player, the third question is "What's the viscosity coefficient when expressing slim's movement using the Navier-Stokes equation?". The correct answer is the third or fifth option. The player can now pass on to the bridge and pick up the 
Star Piece. Going across the two gaps using the Hookshot the player will be able to continue on the main path.
The player will come across General Gast and Snowmen tribe Prince talking. The Champion Sword will react strongly towards them. The general will push the prince to do something against the innuit tribe as all the snowmen attacked have been encased in red ice, that is a signature for the innuit tribe. The prince is reluctant to do anything without solid evidence and Gast will tease the prince of the rumors about him being in love with an Innuit girl.
Collectibles[]
The first Star Piece is right on the main path. The player will need to slide across the ice and use the snow blocks to their advantage to reach it.
North of the first crossroads, the player can use their Hookshot to cross over a gap. Destroy the bushes and press the button underneath to reveal a cave entrance. Inside the cave, the player will find a climbers journal sitting on the table, which will reveal the location of Snowy Mountain Diary. The player should also use the torch to light the standing lantern on fire for later.
Just east from where the player crossed the gap, they will find three buttons. Next to them is an innuit girl and a snowball. Roll the snowball so it grows and push it on top of the two buttons so it sits on top of them at the same time. Step on on the third button to open a path to a star piece. Pick up a bomb next to the launchpad and use it to blow up the rocks next to the star piece. The player will find a treasure chest and upon opening, the player will find Lv. 30 Crescent Moon Earring.
After the bridge, pick up the torch and go west. Melt all the ice blocks on the bottom of the platform to discover Teatan Tourist who will follow the player on SNS once they free them. On the player's way to the east, help the shivering teatan onto a solid ground and they will thank the player with a star piece. Bring the torch and open the shortcut through the pushing blocks (two of the blocks will have 
purple coins under them, make sure to collect them), and melt the ice blocks next to the big gap to the north. The player will gain access to another star piece.
Right after crossing the two gaps after the bridge, the player will see a cave entrance. Enter it to collect some missable purple coins and light the standing lantern on fire. Once the player has lit the lanterns on both sides, the block will lower and reveal another star piece. After the cave entrance, go north through the ice to collect a couple more missable purple coins.
