Keep going on the normal path and Kill all monsters along the way. Eventually you'll meet the guy with the Hammer who enhances(breaks) weapons. Tell him that you want to enhance weapons too. He'll give you a "Spare Hammer".
Use the Hammer on everything nearby and try to enhance them. Try it on the Golems as well. One of the Golems will get upgraded and grow massive. Once that happens, ask the Golem to destroy the statue. Once the Statue is destroyed, you'll get a Star piece for the Level 1-6
