That you will have to push around to get past them. Just push them forward until there is room for, going north and then right, will lead you behind a big pushing stone that you can't push, because of some bushes in the way. You will see on the other side of the stone, the Little Princess is being chased by the same mercenaries that took her with them. The red panda pushes her off the mound and falls with her, destroying all the bushes on the other side and leaving him unconscious. The Princess continues to run away and two of the other mercenaries keep following her while leaving the Panda behind.
You can now push the stone so you can go trough, if you talk to the panda, he will wake up and pick a fight with you. This will initiate a boss fight with The Mercenary Panda, but he will die in one hit as he only has 3 HP. After his defeat he will still bark at you and you are given the choice to either torture him or leave him. Neither will affect the game play as you continue down the path and exit the stage.

As soon as you enter the stage, follow the path until you see a shining sign and a torch. Use the torch to light the sign on fire to reveal a 
star piece.
When you reach the small pushing stones that are placed diagonally, push two of the stones on the buttons on the left. This will lower the stones next to them and you gain access to Lv. 8 Circular Wood Shield. After that go down and there is a single bush. Pick up the bush and it will reveal a 
purple coin.
If you complete the sub quest "Five Years of Work" by catching and defeating the one goblin and then returning to the girl, the girl will award you with Poor Girl's Card as well as some exp. The trick to catching the goblin is to use the pushing stone to create a dead end and lead the goblin to it.
Going down from the Healing Altar, you will see a black haired man with a blue star mark above his head. Upon talking to him, he will tell you that he came from the big city to hunt rare animals, but there is an elf blocking the way to where he wants to hunt. Accepting the sub quest for "No Forests for Humans", will reveal the location of Guardian's Forest and unlock the secret stage.
Going as south as possible after passing the Healing Altar, you will find a small flower field. From this field there is a secret passageway to your left, hinted by some purple coins and your mini map. Following the passageway, you will go pack up to the Healing Altar, but you can now access the button behind some fallen trees. Pressing the button opens a new path and following that path will lead you to a Lv. 10 Chaser's Bow.
Going north and then left after the Healing Altar will lead you to a bald man who is lost in thought. Speaking to him will reveal that he wants to buy a new shield, but his wife is very much against it, so he proposes that you will buy it for him and he will just give you the money. Shopaholic Mercenary will follow you on SNS.
Following the same path from the Shopaholic mercenary and solving a small pushing stone puzzle, will lead you to another star piece. You can press a button to open a secret passage to return to the main path.
